Hassel Back Spring Chicken


1Before you do anything, preheat the oven to 400 F.

2Use a sharp knife to make about 9 slits on top of each chicken breast.

3Season the chicken breasts with some salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning then place them on a lined up baking sheet.

4Place a slice of tomato, zucchini, and onion in each slit then sprinkle over them the mozzarella cheese.

5Place the chicken breasts in the oven then cook them for 26 min.

6Serve your chicken breasts warm and enjoy.


4 chicken breasts

3 tomatoes thinly sliced

1 zucchini thinly sliced

1 small red onion thinly sliced

1 cup of mozzarella cheese shredded

2 tablespoons of olive oil

1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning

Black pepper
